Our church is beginning a partnership with Broadview Middle School to build relationships with youth, teachers and families in our community and to share the love of Christ in tangible ways. Our first project is helping provide Thanksgiving meals for families in need. We are working with the social worker to help make the meal packs families take home to prepare their Thanksgiving dinner.
Each meal pack contains:
2 Cranberry Sauce 14 oz.
2 Boxes Stovetop Stuffing 1 box
2 boxes Macaroni and Cheese 7.25 oz box
2 Canned Yams 15 oz.
2 Green Beans 15 oz.
2 Canned Corn 15 oz.
2 Carrots 15 oz.
1 Instant Mashed Potatoes or Rice 13.3 oz.
2 Gravy Packets
Dessert Kit
Donations for turkeys and hams will also be appreciated. You may write you check to the church and designate it to Broadview Thanksgiving project. Individual items will also be appreciated if you are unable to donate an entire meal kit.
All items should be brought to the church sanctuary on November 17. We will dedicate these offerings during our worship service. The United Methodist Men will deliver the meals to the school during the following week. If you have any questions, please contact Jane Brannock at the church.
